I’m frequently asked about the squirrel-mop brush I use, which is an Isabey (at right). While they are getting much harder to find (though Dick Blick does have them as of this post), I just saw Rosemary & Co. brush on Maria Coryell-Martin’s Expeditionary Art website (Art-Toolkit.com). This gorgeous brush is only $29 and looks to be as good or better quality than the Isabey. I highly recommend this type of sharp-tipped, fat-bellied brush as a one-brush-does-it-all solution for field arts. Like the Isabey, this brush also has a handle that converts to a cover for the brush tip. Thank you, Maria, for the great product!
