We support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in our lives and through our work. Roseann has completed Bias 101 and Safe Zone training through the University of Arizona. We welcome everyone and look forward to meeting you in a supportive, fun and inclusive environment.


Right to Attend

We will accommodate all physical abilities during our programs, based on the venue's layout, facilities, and landscape. Please contact us in advance of booking to ensure our venues can accommodate your abilities.

We do reserve the right to deny service based on our stated Values and Expectations, to protect our programs to ensure an enjoyable experience for all.


Values and Expectations

All Exploring Overland events and programs encompass expectations of conduct based on a culture of inclusivity, respect, and kindness. We want to nurture a safe, welcoming, and fun community for all, so we foster and promote an environment where all interactions allow every community member to feel welcome, safe, and heard. 

We will not tolerate the following behavior in any community platform, gathering, event, or forum (including in-person and online): 

  • Insults or threats

  • Racist or sexist comments or content

  • Hate speech

  • Sexually explicit comments or content

  • Defamatory comments or content involving race, culture, political views, identification / orientation

  • Language that is considered socially offensive due to being vulgar or obscene

  • Other problematic behaviors or comments


We reserve the right to ask members to leave our community (including forums, classes, and events—online or in person) for violating our community values. In most instances, we will first communicate a written warning , but in extreme cases we will ask members to leave immediately and they will be unable to participate in community events in the future.
