• A length of black waxed linen thread to sew the paper into a journal if you like; or, simply paste single pages into your existing journal

  • White gouache by Holbein (permanent white, the best coverage, IMO) in a tiny lidded container (to keep it it moist and ready to go; I found that pan-dried gouache does not cover as well as fresh).
