Italian Rosewood Palette by Tintoretto
Italian Rosewood Palette by Tintoretto
I’m thrilled to be stocking a limited number of these gorgeous Tintoretto rosewood palettes directly from Italy, where they are made.
The clever double-clamshell houses nine empty half-pans and a mixing tray on one side with a hole in which to set a brush upright, and on the flip side, a storage compartment for three travel paintbrushes. The compartments latch with tiny strong magnets.
Measurements: 6 x 2.5 inches (15.24 x 6.35 cm), 1.2 inches tall (3 cm), 4.6 ounces (130 g) without paint or brushes.
Tintoretto travel brushes are sold separately (here).
What other brushes fit? Maximum size to fit: 4 in. (10.2 cm) x 5/16 in (.9 cm) diameter.
In the Tintoretto lines, only these fit: 1326, 1327, 1329, 1337, 1330, 1336, 1328.
The Isabey squirrel mop fits travel brush (but it may be going out of production)
Escoda travel brushes do NOT fit. I haven’t tested other brands.
Palette options (note the palette does not come with any brushes, please order separately):
