This version of the classic Field Notes notebook is the Expedition version, with waterproof and tear-proof paper. Use pencil or ballpoint pen on this paper; colored pencil will work as well. I especially like Caran d’Ache brand. Gouache watercolor also will work but needs to dry thoroughly first or it will smear.
